Nice location. I had to ask for my upgrade and then, I was given a room with a canal view so I did appreciate that.

Staff was extremely helpful in navigating the city and making arrangements for reservations and transportation. The hotel location is perfect for seeing all the major sites while still giving you a more quiet evening by hotel if needed.
The upstairs bar was a nice spot to relax at the end of a busy day - just wish it stayed open later (closed at 9:30) and drink prices were a very pricey.

Super rooftop bar, drinks are pricey but you get snacks with them and it's a perfect way to get your holiday started. Room excellent, very comfy bed, amazing Pillow Menu to suit everybody, really good shower, proper blackout curtains and no horrible flashing ceiling sensor lights. Staff all very charming and courteous. We've stayed here several times now and would gladly book again.

The Splendid Hotel was a beautiful hotel in a great location. Service was great and they had turn down service which is nice after a long day of site seeing. The premium room had extra room. There was plenty of storage space and a nice size bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.
