I had a wonderful stay recently at MacDougall Clansman Hotel. Iain and staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The hotel and rooms were immaculate and had all the necessary amenities. There was a heatwave happening and they were able to provide a room fan to help keep me comfortable.
The location was central to all the main sights and was extremely walkable which was super convenient. The inclusion of fresh breakfast in the morning was a standout feature and fuelled me for the day of sightseeing. I cannot recommend MacDougall Clansman Hotel enough for anyone planning a trip to Inverness.

Centrally located, and steps away from the railway and bus stations. River ness and the beautiful bridges over it are just behind the hotel. Hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast is phenomenal. Staff very courteous and helpful. Highly recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised by our reception at the hotel and the clean comfortable room provided. All we needed for our nostalgic visit to Inverness. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and not cluttered by too many options…perfect for us. Fresh coffee, self served, perfect for a “coffee snob”. Always pleasant, witty attention from Iain. Situation in Church St. also ideal for great pubs and restaurants. All in all a perfect short visit to one of my favourite cities…where I first began schooling..a long time ago!
