Acropolis Hill Hotel

The hotel is really beautiful, the rooftop is amazing and the rooms area really clean and the stuff are the sweetest!

Breakfast was good, front desk was helpful and understood language fairly well, pool looked okay, but never used it. Bar in lobby was never open. Biggest issue was when we checked in the room was hot and AC never cooled it down, the bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke, lighting in room and hallway was very low and room was very small. We asked about changing rooms, but were told none were available. We were going to move to another hotel after the first night, but Booking.com reached out to the hotel directly and asked them to change our room with an upgraded room at no additional fee. They let us tour the room and we decided to move there and continue our stay here. It's in a cool hipster neighborhood with lots of cafes and shops within walking distance and of course close to the Acropolis. Enjoyed the breakfast and the desk staff were helpful in scheduling rides to airport, etc.

Rooftop wasn't as great as we thought, lighting is very low - first room was down a very dark hallway in the back of the hotel and felt a little off for two single ladies traveling alone. Room lighting was low, making it difficult to do makeup without having drapes open with daylight. Walkable to a lot, pool looked okay, but we didn't get a chance to use it. First room was very hot and bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke, but we were able to switch to an upgraded room that the AC worked well and was a tiny big larger. Rooms are generally what you'd expect in city hotels, very small,

Petit déjeuner totalement inintéressant, avec des produits peu variés, et d'une qualité médiocre. Au final mieux vaut payer un peu plus cher un hôtel avec un vrai bon petit déjeuner, et économiser sur le repas du midi. Ce qui revient au même niveau budget. Par ailleurs le descriptif de l'hôtel mettait en avant la piscine lors de notre réservation, sans nous avoir informés que celle ci serait en maintenance tout au long du séjour. Chose pas vraiment respectueuse vis à vis du client, et qui réduit sensiblement la prestation payée. Aucune compensation ne nous a été accordée.
