- exceptional breakfast
- house from Edo period
- guest house rebuilt from stables
- the host couple speaks English so no language barrier
- kind of messy/disorganized inside the house
- mosquitos since it’s a countryside

We stayed here for two nights and hired bikes to ride the 'Perfect Days' loop. Tim and his wife (whose name escapes me right now) were fantastic hosts - very friendly and helpful. The dog and the cat were great company, too. Lots of options for bikes to hire no matter the fitness level. The scenery we rode through was breathtaking - in both senses of the word. The breakfasts were fantastic and set us up for the day. They went above and beyond in helping us navigate the Japanese process when we accidentally damaged our hire car (thank God!).
