La'gent Hotel Kyoto Nijo

we booked a twin bed room for our 2 nights trip. when we got the key and reach the room, i realised it was a corner room, and the room number 413 contains 2 unlucky number in traditional chinese culture, 4 and 13, plus the corner room (also not a good location in traditional think). so we went to the front desk, after check, there are no more same type of room available, but the staff change our room type to 2 single bed room and that solve our problems... thank you so much.

the traditional kyoto cuisine buffet breakfast was superb, but the buffet walk way area was bit squeeze. location wise, bit troublesm that we have to take bus to center of city.

2eme séjour dans cet établissement et toujours aussi bien ! Le bus est juste en bas de l'hôtel, vous pouvez aller partout. Le personnel est super gentil !

This was my second time to stay here. Everything I liked the first time was still the same: The friendly and efficient staff, the clean, comfortable, and relatively spacious room, the very relaxing public bath, and the excellent quality and variety of the breakfast. I also like that the hotel is not located in the most heavily touristed part of the city, but Nijo Station is just a short walk away, and bus stops are nearby, so it's easy enough to get around. As I mentioned, this was my second time to stay here, and hopefully not my last. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

Super comfy beds. Extremely clean. Beautiful onsen. Amenities were great.

Staff were extremely unfriendly and cold. Not welcoming at all. The rooms were incredibly small. Coffee machine isn’t available until 10am.
