This is a great place to stay. The host was super nice and if we needed anything she was a callOr text away! Nice and clean place. Everything on one level. One bedroom in the basement. We had a group of 7 people and all slept well! Big spacious kitchen with dishes and cook ware and living room. Pool table in the basement was a lot of fun and kept the kids busy. The views were great, and when the cows were up they were fun to LOOK at. Bring things like food storage containers and tinfoil, cooking spray. Close to lots of mountains and SXS trails. Make sure to close the gates on the trails! Plenty of room to bring in a trailer with the nice loop in the driveway. Also remember you’re in the mountains so there is very little cell service if any. Opening the windows and leaving the bedroom doors open at night really helped cool the house down. During the day close all windows and curtains to help keep it cooler too. Cons: 30 min drive from Hill City, no A/C, and the water pressure was not great at times. Like down to a trickle while trying to take a shower, even with one shower at a time it still struggled at times. Other than that we had a great time and will hopefully be back again!

Nice property off the beaten path

This was a disappointment from the beginning. The house was 52 degrees when we arrived.We wore coats for the first couple of hours while we waited for some heat. The ad for the property said it sleeps 10, which it did. However, there was only room for 6 people to watch TV. And only room for 6 at the table. But we were told in CAPS not to move the funiture. The hot water heater did not near keep up. Garbage had to be hauled or walked a fair distance. The pool table was really uneven. There was a farkel game but no dice. We left the ones we bought for the next family.But we did see deer and the view was really good. I won't be recommending it.
