Regina Goren Hotel

Regina Goren was a solid, budget hotel for an overnight stay in Ashkelon. The staff were the best part about the hotel and I was glad for their kind welcome and helpful attitude. The room was adequate. It was small and quite dated -- but I expected that going in and paying the comparatively low price I paid. I was, honestly, just looking for a clean place to shower and sleep between landing in Israel (and checking out Tel Ashkelon) and getting on with my tour of some off-the-beaten-path archaeological sites. The breakfast was a nice surprise. Coffee, tea, a cappucino maker, good breads and jams, tuna salad for protein, yogurt, Greek salad fixings, and more.

Breakfast was extremely good. Spectacular view of the sea and excellent access to the Marina

tiny ants in the room but we were very happy not to see any big bugs like roaches.

Good breakfast and proper location. Ms. Tatiana from the reception is a very kind and professional person.

Nothing. Simple hotel but meet my expectations

The personal was outstanding! Better than in a five star hotel. They were so nice and helpful. Also Moshe at the door is an unbelievable guy and so nice. He knows the area well. I needed it for one night on a working trip and it was exactly what I needed. WLAN is super. Place to sit in the room. Small but worked for me. I had a really good time.

There was a party on the beach. It’s very close to the promenade. But it was a holiday so an exception. And it’s a plus you can walk to the beach.
