This apartment was located in a great area for visiting the Sagrada Familia and Hospital Sant Pau. Check in was super easy with a code sent to your phone. We used our phone as a key, very easy and convenient. The apartment is on the "2nd floor" which in Spain means about 4 floors up. There is an elevator we never used. The dining room/living room is very nice and comfortable. The balcony is a great bonus. The kitchen was fine-we never used it. The bedrooms were very simple and a bit dingy. They were sufficient but did not have a great feel. It was very hot during the day so we opened the windows, but had to shut them early in them morning because the neighbors were smoking and the smoke came right in the bedrooms. The bathrooms were fine. The one shower leaked water on the floor-no big deal, we put towels around the shower. If you are looking for stylish bedrooms with a hotel feel or homey feel, this is not for you. However, if you don't care about the bedrooms and plan on spending more time in the living/dining room area or out exploring the great city of Barcelona, this is a good economic choice and way to save money. We always had quick responses from the host while preparing for our stay.

This apartment was wonderful. The host was extremely communicative and flexible and made our stay excellent. The digital key was really convenient and it was very easy to use. Everything in the apartment was great and we would definitely stay here again.

The listing expectations were lived up to! I had two of my friends and I stay here for a week and we lived it up in Barcelona. Great walking distance to La Sagrada Familia (5 min walk). We walked to the beach which was about 30 minutes. Great restaurants around the area, you really can't go wrong. The balcony was a highlight for my guests and I. Bonus having a washer and lines outside to dry clothes. SO many great memories made. Thank you The Collection Barcelona!

Here are the positives about this apartment: it was clean, and the metro entrance is extremely close. Neighborhood was fine -- lots of bakeries and shops. It has a spacious dining room / living room. There were some significant drawbacks, though. The bedrooms were very small and dark. All 3 bedrooms have a window that overlooks a very dingy airshaft. Fortunately the weather was moderate, otherwise we would have been hot with just fans in the bedrooms. This was a premium priced apartment, so I expected nicer bedrooms and amenities. The photos must have been taken with some serious lighting assistance, because the bedrooms were all but unrecognizable. Overall, very disappointing stay.
