Maldron Hotel Liverpool City Centre

Breakfast was excellent… great choices.

Beds were are a little uncomfortable. Quilts too heavy and the room was warm

Good location, pleasant room, good bathroom

Hotel was in an excellent location ,we usually stay at the Hilton but unfortunately this was not available ,having said that would and will definitely stay at the Maldron again. The hotel seems to cater for a lot of corporate and tour groups which made it very busy at Breakfast and in the bar in the evening ,having said that our rooms were very quiet. Breakfast was very good but could do with more gluten free options. Iron and board and hairdryer provided in the room .

Received an early alarm call which wasn't asked for. No make up mirror in the bathroom which for us ladies is essential. The phone on the wall was flashing all night and no way to stop it. We decided to go for lunch in the bar area ,but we were ignored for over 20 minutes ,the young lady at the bar was too busy talking to another gentleman so we upped and left ,we were the only other two people in there at the time . Tea and coffee were not replenished in our room. Would have liked instructions on how to use A/C and heating controls.

We have stayed in the hotel few times now , we always go after work to have a little break from reality. The hotel is very modern and comfortable.

The pricing was way too high for the night as we paid around £140 on booking.come which was okay as that was including breakfast. However when we have arrived at 23:30, as we always do, this time they made us pay another £100 which was an additional charge for the late check in. I really don’t think this was fair as it wasn’t included anywhere until we got to the reception!
