The Gate Hangs High

Perfect location. The staff was friendly. Rooms were super clean, and the food was perfect. We'd definitely recommend this place to everyone.

No complaints.

The staff were excellent, especially Delly and Claire. They were more than helpful when we had a little blip with our booking. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Having to go home the next day. Wish we had found this place at the start of our stay down South.

Beautiful location, staff very friendly and helpful. Amazing food and pub atmosphere. Housekeeping staff very helpful. Looking forward to another visit.

Nice quiet location

Bed uncomfortable, wasn't made aware until turned up that no food being prepared on Tuesday and Wednesdays would have been nice to know this. Bathroom door lock broken, mastic around shower tiered and blackened in places. Toilet seat not correct type so small and moved when sat on. Wasn't told about check out and were to take keys as the pub was closed at 8am.. found a contractor and handed them the keys. Light in hallway didn't work so emergency green bright light on all night shining into our room. Oh and on leaflet they gave us said pub opening time and closes when it's closed.. no time which handy :)
