Beautiful 2 floor Vondelpark apartment.

Very clean and had everything we needed. Even a few pods of coffee! Having the 2 washrooms was very nice.

We thought that the locking system was very unsafe. You need a key to get out of the apartment as well as a key to get out of the building. In an emergency this is not safe and probably would not meet safety codes.

Très joli appartement en duplex, très bien situé, facile d'accès depuis la gare (tram ligne 17). Nous avons été accueillies par la propriétaire, très sympathique et discrète. L'appartement est très bien meublé, et "cozy". La salle de bain est grande (douche et baignoire), les lits sont très confortables. Il y a deux cabinets de toilette (un en bas et un dans la salle de bain à l'étage). Le quartier est très sympa, à la fois plus calme que le centre et animé; il y a des cafés, des restaurants et de magasins partout aux alentours. Séjour parfait! Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Juste une précision pour les personnes à mobilité réduite ou avec des gros bagages: il y a des escaliers à monter pour arriver à l'appartement une fois passée la porte d'entrée, et pour accéder aux chambres. Mais rien de problématique en soi.

Very nice and quiet apartment, easy check-in and check-out, very good location with connections to trams and 1 minute walk to Vondelpark, very appropriate for nice late evening walks. Very quiet property. Beds were comfortable.

There is no possibility to get food warm, a small microwave would be beneficial. Otherwise you have a coffee machine and you can make warm coffees and teas. However we had breakfast at the location (unprovided by the location, but got some breakfast food from the Albert-Heijn which is 1 minute walk from the location). We would buy some salads for dinner as we were having lunch in town. So, this was not a major issue. You could not find forks at the location, however there were knives, spoons and tea-spoons. Another minor aspect is the fact that the location felt somehow chilly (we travelled in April), as the radiators from the bedrooms did not warm completely, I think they need some ventilation or mending. But you can get extra blankets from the wardrobe on the first floor if you sleep by yourself :) ). The temperature in the bathrooms was nice and did not feel cold.

The location was good, away from the crowds but easy to reach major attractions.

The stairs were steep and had to be negotiated very carefully. The kitchen lacked essential items such as microwave, hob, set of sharp knives for bread and salad stuffs, kitchen roll etc There was nowhere to hang clothes or shelves to put them on. No hooks for wet towels. The fixed shower head kept drooping, making showering tricky at times! Router for the tv was temperamental: sometimes working, sometimes not. TV remote required new batteries which we bought.
