I made my reservation weeks in advance, so I was disappointed when I arrived and was told that I would be staying in the building next to the main hotel. The gentleman at the front desk explained that if I wanted a room in the main hotel, I would have to pay an additional fee.
The entrance and lobby of the annex building were clean and smelled pleasant. However, the hallway leading to my first-floor room was another story. The carpet was dirty and had a large stain, which gave a poor first impression.
The room itself appeared clean and was spacious. Unfortunately, when I returned that evening, I noticed a small insect near the TV and refrigerator. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was a cockroach, so I killed it and didn’t think much of it. The next morning, I saw another one as I was leaving. I informed a staff member before heading out, but since I was away most of the day, I left it at that.
On my last day, while packing my belongings, I found a cockroach inside one of the dresser drawers. At that point, I realized the smaller insects I had seen earlier were likely baby cockroaches.
I was very disappointed with my experience. Between being placed in the annex instead of the main hotel unless I paid extra, and finding cockroaches in my room, I don’t think I’ll be staying here again. That’s why I gave this hotel an overall rating of 2 stars.
