10 / 10Remarquable·juill. 2026
We stayed here in May 2025 and really enjoyed it. This time we booked a sea view feature room to celebrate our 40th anniversary. It had an amazing view of the rock pools and the en-suite had a freestanding copper bathtub. We were going to watch some of the World Cup highlights on the TV in our room however it didn’t have BBC iPlayer or itvx however we did bring a chromecast device to connect Netflix and iPlayer from our iPhone but unfortunately on the very last part of connection “something went wrong” came up. Would recommend eating in the restaurant, the indoor pool was great and the staff wonderful.

Very nice staff, and hotel is in great location. Beautiful views over the Moray firth. Breakfast was fine and the staff were very friendly.

Nice location and overall ambience but hotel is dated and rooms very old fashioned
Food and drink expensive

It has a lovely setting and unfortunately the only one thing that was not quite right was the service in the restaurant for dinner. Where the food arrived before drinks
