For years, I have always stayed at a La Quinta either in Miami or Fort Lauderdale and this stay was by far the best. I was a Manager at a hotel in the past so I know good hotel standards. I must applaud the Front Desk Clerk, Nina. Even though, she worked a twelve plus hour shift, she was pleasant with each guest that came by, she resolved each concern. I sat in the lobby for several hours and observed. Her service deserves recognition; she made this stay the best. Also, the shuttle driver, Lloyd also delivered excellent service. The breakfast was normal. The room is stayed in needs a little TLC. My observations are the bathroom door hinged are rusted, the carpet needs a shampoo and the elevator is super slow and inadequate when hotel occupancy is high. This is the only La Quinta i will be staying at once I am in Fort Lauderdale.
