We paid for generic theming and general access and we were happy. If you desperately want the explicit brand and the 15 minutes of early entry (maybe) then you should pay for it. We were glad we saved the money to enjoy in the park instead.
Those access passes aren’t cheap!

Conveniently located by Tokyo Disney parks. Check in was fast and efficient. Staff available to help with anything. Shuttle services to maihama station that connects to Disneyland and Tokyo. Bayside monorail station across the street if monorail is your choice to Disney parks. Pools are an extra fee if you want to use that service. There’s Lawson and Disney store inside the hotel. Room is clean and toiletries are provided daily. Slippers and robes available to use in the room. Bed is comfy and very clean. Ocean view is the best.
