Lovely, quiet and extremely clean hotel in the heart of Grasmere.
Fantastic friendly staff.
Excellent breakfast.

Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help.

The staff here are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgable about the area. Check in was smooth, lovely big room with hot tub, gorgeous breakfast, comfy bed to name but a few positives. The only slight negative and I emphasis slight - room 2 ground floor can get quite noisy outside due to customers coming and going for breakfast. However this would not put me off and would definitely return. Parking limited.

Great hotel, lovely chilled environment, fab breakfast and friendly staff, really recommend this place. It is such a shame it is being developed into apartments later in the year taking all the character away.
