We had a wonderful stay at Antico Portego! The property was in a central location with plenty of restaurants and bakeries nearby. Staff were lovely and check in was easy.

Excellent location. Very clean room and friendly staff. Very accessible to Train Station or a quick walk from the nearest Vaporetto (public

Very pleasant spaces, quiet, and roomy. Only downside was that there is no regularly-staffed reception desk, and communication in advance was neither prompt nor specific about exactly how to check in or whether and how we could drop off luggage before checkin. I recommend getting clear answers to such questions a few days in advance. After we solved those problems, though, the stay was very nice.

This was a lovely little place tucked away in one of the quieter areas of Venice. The building had an old Venice charm but with modern amenities and upgrades. I was most impressed by the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff despite being a contactless hotel. I messaged with them regularly over WhatsApp and they made me feel welcomed and always responded very quickly, doing their best to accommodate my requests. We really loved our visit and would definitely stay here again!
