The room was larger than the average hotel in Japan. They offered additional amenities if needed, free coffee and sake (1 per person, per day) for guests. Great location to meander anywhere in this walkable city!

Location was excellent, close to key train and subway stations and a short walk from Gion and Nishiki Market. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spacious and the breakfast was just amazing. If I am ever in Kyoto again, I will definitely stay here.
