Went here with my wife and 2 kids (15,12). This place was absolutely beautiful! You are literally in the Rain Forrest and you get a perfect view of the volcano when the fog isn’t there. Expect to have an occasional fly or bug get in your room but the master bed has mosquito nets that go all the way around. With that being said the entire resort was very clean, every single staff member was friendly and it never felt packed at all.
The only negative was the food. It was so expensive, basically double the price of the sodas(restaurants) outside of the resort. We had room service twice and just for some pizza and burgers for four people it was over $100 for one order.
We still gave it 5 stars because of how amazing everything else was. There was one guy that got upset he didn’t get a tip for a 30 second golf cart ride, but everyone else was awesome.
They have 24 hour complimentary dry cleaning service and breakfast was included every morning until 10:30am which was a nice surprise. We saw sloths, monkeys, snakes, frogs, iguanas and all types of birds just from walking the property.
We would definitely return again it was an amazing experience.

Incredible property. Exactly as pictured. If you’ve ever been on a 5 star African safari this is the Costa Rican equivalent. Only disappointment was our room didn’t have a volcano view as pictured but the room was incredible nonetheless and the main dining and pool area had a great view of the volcano.

It's was great .. The hotel and the staff were great , in fact amazing.. Just the weather that was too rainy... But anyway, we enjoyed a lot ...
