I don’t expect much from a B&B in Blackpool but Hazel Grove exceeded my expectations. My first impression was that it didn’t smell of fried food, stale cigarettes, or dirty carpets. It was fresh and clean. The room was a good size, the double bed wasn’t squashed in a corner and you could get into bed from both sides. It had the comfiest mattress. The shower was clean and had good pressure and there was always hot water. The towels were like new, so fluffy. The area around the B&B was also quieter. We had the room at the front and slept with the windows open and weren’t disturbed by outside noise (except seagulls) The breakfast was very good and set us up for the day. I would definitely stay here again.
