Shangri-La Residences at the Fort, Manila

Always a fantastic stay at this property. Great people, location and facilities. Will not be disappointed.

The staff were accommodating and respectful. The entire place was spotless and we had everything we needed. The place is also secure - there were guards who checks everyone who goes in and out of the building. Guests could only come up with your permission. There was also parking available for free for your visitors, they just need to get a car pass.

I would highly recommend due to the wonderful staff alone. The residences had a couple issues with maintenance and odor at check in. However the staff immediately got to work to resolve all issues and made our family stay unforgettable. Our family had an urgent trip home due to a death in our family and the staff at the shangrila made our stay very comfortable. The even gave our family a floral arrangement to take home and it really touched our heart at the level of attention and care they provided.

I recently stayed at the Shangri-La Residences at the Fort for a 10-night business trip, and overall, the experience was excellent. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The hotel-arranged airport transfer was waiting for us as soon as we exited baggage claim and provided a smooth, comfortable ride to the property, which took approximately 25-30 minutes in the evening. The staff also handled our luggage promptly upon arrival. Security is clearly a priority at the property, as all bags are screened before entry, which added an extra level of comfort during our stay. Throughout the visit, every team member was friendly, professional, and eager to help. Whether it was room service, housekeeping, concierge assistance, or special requests, the staff responded quickly and always with a smile. The one-bedroom residence was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for an extended stay. Its location is another major advantage, with plenty of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, and conveniences within walking distance. The only minor drawback was a noticeable musty odor in the residence. I did not experience this in the hotel areas, so it may be related to the humidity affecting the residential units. While it wasn't a significant issue, it was the only aspect of the stay that stood out. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would gladly return. The outstanding service, spacious accommodations, excellent security, and convenient location.
