Mercure Garut City Center

The water refill facility is very good, the bed is amazing very comfy, warm water in the pool is great

The lighting - too bright - to switch it off need several tries. The receptiom said they will send technician but never came. When we went to the room first time, the door to balcony was open. We didnt realize it until we prepared to sleep.. the Bathroom smelled musty like a towel not dried.. The lobby felt hectic. Checked in took quite sometime. When we came no concierge staff available to store the luggage. The hotel price also too high

The location is good, next to Ramayana Mall

They have many rooms per floor, there are only three lifts so far away from the room where we stayed. They don't provide bottled water but have a water dispenser in the lobby/aisle. Which isn't expected from an Accor group hotel. The breakfast is also bad not as per Accor standard. I understand from the front desk that the privilege rooms have better view. Superior room where we stayed had no view at all. This isn't expected from Accor group hotel. Totally disappointed. Past few years I have been staying at Santika Garut and they are far better than Mercure.
