Host was great with communication and even let me know that the condo was ready for early check in which I really appreciated since we’d driven 12.5 hours overnight and arrived earlier than we expected. We love Gulfgate and have stayed 3 times in 3 different condos. This one was definitely one of our favorites. The kitchen was well stocked with pots pans and dishes and had everything we needed for 8 people. There were also plenty of towels, but we did bring our own beach towels. The beds were comfortable, even the couch pullout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The private beach with set up, location, and beach view from the gorgeous balcony all keep us coming back every other year. We’ve looked into other condos, but just can’t picture Destin without staying at Gulfgate.

Great place!!! We usually stay at a different resort, but due to my granddaughter’s softball tournament we had to change plans last minute. It was stressful but so thankful, as we wouldn’t have known about this place otherwise. We will certainly be staying here going forward for our yearly family trip. Host was amazing to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Property was fantastic and the owner was top shelf. The ice maker in the bar was a game changer!!!

Fantastic in every way! This was our 3rd stay at Gulfgate, and there are many reasons for that...wonderful location, excellent parking, gated property, nice well maintained building, all condos are beachfront with big balconies and fully furnished, nice pool and exercise room, and couldn't possibly be any closer to the beach. But the PRIVATE beach itself is the single biggest factor to us, it's absolutely breathtakingly perfect! Cool powdery white sand with little to no shells (or bugs) crystal clear water, no crowds to worry about, and 1 row of chairs...1! To us, it just doesn't get any better. This particular condo was excellent, we had zero issues and zero complaints. It had everything we wanted/expected. The owner/host was extremely nice and accommodating, they even include a local dinning guide! Would 100% stay here again. We have been to many many different areas and beaches all across FL, but Destin/Gulfgate is our favorite and we will continue to return.
