Welcome to Jasmine Joy, a 4BR/3.5BA beach home nestled amongst the quiet neighborhoods of the St. George Plantation!
On the 1st floor of this comfortable home is the first of two King master suites with ensuite bathroom w/ shower and access to a furnished, screened-in porch. A second King bedroom also opens onto the furnished, screened-in porch and shares a full bathroom with a combination tub/shower with the third bedroom (2 twin beds) on this floor. The laundry room with full size washer/dryer is located just down the hall.
The 2nd King master suite can be found on the top floor. The private ensuite bathroom boasts a large, jetted bathtub, separate shower and double vanity. Each bedroom has a TV with multiple DVD players available. Just past this bedroom you’ll find yourself stepping into a craftsman-style living space with heart pine floors, warm, pine tray ceiling and decorative beams. The living/dining rooms open onto a large, furnished screened-in porch with Gulf peek-a-views. Earthy hues and natural elements make this space cozy and inviting.
The well-stocked kitchen offers plenty of space for multiple chefs with an abundant amount of counterspace and large, center Island. A convenient half bath can be found just across the hall.
Outside amenities include a hot & cold enclosed outdoor shower, gas grill, fish cleaning station, under-house concrete parking with covered entry and a large, private swimming pool. The swimming pool is enveloped in a screened-in enclosure and has an extra spacious pool deck with plenty of room to play or sun-bathe! Additional shade for play can be found in the carport, for those extra sunny days.
A convenient nature path can be found just steps from the home and leads to the community beach boardwalk or walk along the residential street to the boardwalk, both a short 3-4 minute walk from the property,
As guests staying inside the St. George Plantation community, you can enjoy miles of bike paths, walking trails, access to fishing at Bob Sike’s Cut and being minutes from the serene Gulf beach. Amenities include the Plantation Clubhouse with Olympic-style community pool, fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts. A second community pool is available at Resort Village.

We had a wonderful 4th of July week at this beautiful vacation home in the Plantation community on St. George Island. The house was very comfortable and decorated with timeless island style—beachy and inviting, but still classy and not overdone.One of our favorite spots was the screened-in porch, where our family spent a lot of time in the mornings and evenings. The family room was spacious enough for our whole group to gather comfortably, and I especially loved the high coffered ceiling with the palm ceiling fans—both beautiful and cool.The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals at the house. The beach path was a short, beautiful walk—about five minutes—to the gorgeous SGI beach. The property and landscaping were also very well cared for, and I loved the natural look of the grounds.The screened pool was another highlight. It was so refreshing after afternoons at the beach, and there was plenty of comfortable seating around the pool. The pool lights were not working during our stay, but the rental office was very responsive and offered to come string lights by the pool. It ended up not being a big issue for us since we had outdoor candles, and it did not cause any real inconvenience.We also enjoyed a shopping day in Apalachicola, had a great time at the Water Parade, and loved the fireworks on the beach by the Blue Parrot, as usual.I have been coming to St. George Island for 20 years, and I truly believe this is my favorite house we have stayed in. Thank you for a fun week full of great memories in the comfort of a beautiful home on a beautiful island!

The home was absolutely perfect! Our family loved staying here - quiet, short walk to beach with grandchildren aged 2 1/2, 3, and 5. Home was well maintained and clean! When we arrived The toilet in half bath needed new float. We notified them and it was repaired immediately. They were so responsive! We also had a concern with pool light, and they sent electrician and pool company as well. Although it could not be corrected, they even offered to place string lights around pool area for evening swimming. We declined as son had brought a tripod light. We would definitely stay again! The multiple porches, large bedrooms, baths, and kitchen were perfect! We love St George Island and this home was one of the best we have stayed in. We will be back!

The home is beautiful and an easy walk to the beach. We loved having the private path directly to the beach boardwalk. A couple of things to note: the home could use a few more basic amenities such as a hair dryer (none at all in any of the bathrooms), tupperware for storing leftovers, and plastic wrap/aluminum foil. Rental homes on the island usually come stocked with those items, so we were unprepared for that. Cleanliness was an issue, as many of the pots/pans/baking sheets were returned to the cabinets used and unwashed. I left the cooking supplies cleaner than when we arrived. We also found a stack of used press-on nails on one of the bedroom floors. The top floor balcony off of the master bedroom was covered in black dog hair, even though the rental is not pet-friendly. The home itself is amazing, and we really enjoyed our stay there. I would rent this home again.

This place was perfect for our St. George Island stay. Not only was there plenty of room for all of us, but a few things made it AHmazing: the easy walk to the beach, the quiet of the neighborhood, the kitchen, and the screened-in spaces (porches and the pool).
