This cottage enjoys a central location, perfectly positioned between the town and the beach in Whitstable. A short two-minute walk into town offers a delightful array of restaurants and unique boutiques. The beach is also just a two-minute stroll away, where you can enjoy leisurely walks along the promenade stretching to Seasalter in one direction and Herne Bay in the other. Nearby tennis courts are easily accessible, or you can hire a bicycle from Kent Cycles to explore the scenic woodlands along the Crab and Winkle Way.

You have access to all areas in the property apart from the cupboard under the stairs.

Built in 1887, the year of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee and the inspiration for its name, this cottage retains much of its historic charm and original features from its time as a mariner's home over a century ago.

The ground floor features a comfortable and stylish lounge, ideal for cosying up with a book on a chilly winter evening or enjoying TV (with Sky) and a film from the provided selection of DVDs. The fully equipped kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need for your stay, including a double oven, microwave, and washing machine. The separate dining room, comfortably seating six, along with a cosy sofa, makes this room the heart of the house – a wonderful space to mingle and chat over drinks or a meal after a day of exploring Whitstable. A convenient WC is also located on the ground floor.

The first floor offers three bedrooms: a large master bedroom with a king-size bed, a double bedroom to the rear, and a twin bedroom in the middle . Each bedroom has been recently refurbished and is tastefully decorated and furnished with high-quality bedding and throws, ensuring a comfortable stay. The small family bathroom consists of a bath, with shower overhead, toilet and basin.

The garden is a delightful space to relax in on warm summer evenings, complete with comfortable outdoor sofas, a dining table, and a small lawn. Adding to its appeal, the house features a private driveway with parking for one car – a significant advantage in Whitstable.
