This traditional home on the shores of Lake Norman is located in a quiet cove accessible via a private road. Close to the Duke Power State Park, it is a Southern charmer with plenty of modern conveniences.

BOATING/CANOEING - There is no better way to enjoy the property's 400 feet of waterfront than to ride a complimentary 4-seat pedal boat around its quiet cove. We also offers a complimentary 3-person canoe for its guests.
SWIMMING - The property’s shoreline and quiet waters is ideal for swimming. Water depths are between 8-12 feet, with a small beach area during spring and summer. Complimentary water tubes, beach towels, beach chairs are available for all guests.
FISHING - The best catch includes catfish, brem, bass on the property’s docks and pier. Complimentary fishing poles available upon request.
Large shopping centers (Super Target, Super Wal-Mart, etc) are 10 minutes away with numerous restaurants and grocery stores.

Rounded up from 4.5 stars. The hosts were excellent and made check-n easy with advance communication. The location of the property is amazing and our multi-generation family especially enjoyed the large dock, lakefront, and the outdoor decks. The main kitchen was well-equipped! The living area in the main house provides a great space to gather indoors. The only issue we had did not require an immediate response, yet the hosts went above and beyond by arriving with a brand new grill! The bedrooms in the main house are large and lovely. The bedrooms in the cottage are very small. Those of us in the cottage enjoyed its coziness and the large deck, though. Our nephew was delighted to be able to bring his dog who he crated when indoors. This would be a 5-star property if there were fewer accessories and less furniture in both the house and cottage (as it feels crowded and hinders unpacking), and with a little more attention to maintenance of the grills and outdoor furniture. We really enjoyed our stay, and the house cottage layout was great with its total of 9 bedrooms. We appreciated being able to gather in a beautiful waterfrom location!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It comfortably fit our family of 16. There were plenty of things to do outside. We loved being able to swim right off the dock. Lots of seating areas to sit outside and enjoy the view and weather. We would definitely book this house again in the future.

Alicia replied promptly to all my inquiries and requests for fishing poles and extra beach towels for our family reunion of 20. The new covered deck in the back is great for enjoying the lake views as you relax. The quiet cove was perfect for our younger family members to fish and paddle board. We brought our own paddle boards and extra life jackets however it was nice to have the kayaks, canoes and some life jackets available as other options. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were clean and comfortable. Games upstairs were entertaining at night for the kids. Some base boards and kitchen light fixtures needed a good cleaning but this did not hamper us in any way from having fun. We had a fabulous time and will definitely consider staying here again. It was exceptional value for the money we paid. Thank you to the hosts for sharing their beautiful home and cottage with us!

We had an amazing stay at this property. The rooms were more than adequate. The space inside was sufficient for our large group and the outdoor area just can’t be beat.
