Chiemsee Barrierefrei offers vacation apartments that welcome people with and without disabilities. Our goal is to provide a relaxing vacation for everyone in a pleasant atmosphere. We offer a well-equipped new building from 2023 with a large garden.
Our care apartment measures 50 square meters, featuring a bedroom, a kitchen/dining area, and an accessible bathroom. You’ll also have your own terrace with a panoramic view. The apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen. It is fully accessible for wheelchair users in accordance with DIN 18040 and is located on the first floor with no thresholds. All doors, patio doors, and turning circles (150 cm) are also accessible for nursing beds and hospital beds. As an alternative to a nursing bed, a standard bed can be provided. All information is presented in easy-to-read language as well as in Braille. When you book the nursing apartment, you have free access to amenities such as bicycles, go-karts, the sound and sensory garden, etc.—all of which are, of course, fully accessible. A parking space, Wi-Fi, bed linens, final cleaning, and towel service are included; a free washer and dryer are also available to our guests (not physically accessible). The care apartment features a modern and appealing design. We provide a shower bed, a lift, and a shower chair. Any additional care or assistive devices needed can be provided upon prior request. A free baby cot is also available upon request. Up to three people can stay in the care apartment. Pets are welcome subject to certain conditions. Use our care apartment as a starting point for day trips to Lake Chiemsee, the Alps, and the surrounding historic old towns. We at Chiemsee Barrierefrei are happy to assist you.
