Fort Collins Inn

I stay at lots of smaller value priced motels, always write reviews and this location is the rare gem! Located off Rt 287 in the northern section of Fort Collins, good parking, currently having work done on one of the buildings. Recently remodeled office was cheerful & bright. The Host "John" greeted me with fast, friendly check-in. I had requested & was given a room on the 1st floor. I always go check the room before "moving" into it. The smell was fresh & clean, no heavily scented odors. Extremely clean floors, walls, glass, mirrors, sink, bathroom fixtures & outlet covers. Meticulous remodeling with bright tiles & some of the best chalking in a bathroom I've ever seen. A large stuffed sitting chair had a washable clean cloth cover over it, nice touch. There was a tabletop desk area with a slick new office chair which I sat at for several hours writing letters & postcards. All the standard amenities of heating/cooling unit, lighting, bathroom fixtures, bedding, television were all in working order & great. I have acquaintances who recently moved to Fort Collins & I will be using this motel on all my future visits to this city.

There is no breakfast advertised or offered, but there are plenty of morning breakfast fast food options nearby & if you rise very early, there is a 24hr Waffle House off Rt 14 on the east side of town. The traffic can get busy with a right turn only to exit the motel, but a mere pittance to deal with considering the value.

It was clean and inexpensive, not fancy, as expected.
