The hotel itself was nice, clean, comfortable, well located, and good value for money

Unfortunately, the check-in experience was very disappointing. Although we showed the staff our Booking.com confirmation clearly stating that the reservation was prepaid, they refused to check us in because they said the payment had not reached their account. We explained that our reservation was prepaid, not “pay at the property,” and that any payment issue should have been resolved directly between the hotel and Booking.com. Nevertheless, they would not allow us to check in until we paid again. This caused unnecessary stress and left us concerned about being charged twice. The hotel was good overall, but the staff should better understand Booking.com’s payment procedures and handle such situations more professionally.
