Breakfast was good plus home made bread and jam
Perhaps better hanging space for clothes
And shared bathroom might be a problem if busy
Getting used to digital door codes- but ok after a couple of attempts!

Great location; very kind and helpful host; immaculately clean; exceptionally comfortable bed; good quality bedding; very quiet.
A little desk or table would be helpful for working on; but also to put the tea tray as there was very little room on the mantelpiece. An additional cup and a glass. Storage was limited but fine for a couple of days

Our trip to the swan lodge was everything we could’ve wanted from a stay at the seaside. The hosts are lovely and so welcoming. They adapted breakfast to our vegetarian needs and were always up for a chat or giving us recommendations for the area. Our room was stunning and felt like out of a storybook. The steamtrain passes directly by the garden but it doesn’t go at night so it was lovely and quiet.
