【For a comfortable stay】

・We do not provide toothbrushes. Please bring your own.

・This traditional Japanese house has a relatively steep staircase. A ramp and non-slip strips are installed, but no baby equipment is available. If you are traveling with young children or have difficulty using the stairs, please take this into account before booking. Upon prior request, we can prepare up to two futons in the Japanese lounge on the first floor.

・Due to construction work nearby, construction noise may be audible on weekdays between approximately 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM until the end of August. If you are sensitive to noise, we recommend sleeping in the Japanese room at the back of the house rather than the western room facing the street.

・Japanese rooms feature traditional Japanese shoji. There are no blackout curtains and soft natural light in the morning. If this bothers you, sleep masks are available.

After checking the documents, we will provide you with instructions on how to unlock the smart lock on the day of your arrival. In order to facilitate your arrival, please send us the documents as soon as possible.

▼In accordance with the special tourist rental system of the city of Osaka, reservations are possible for a minimum of 2 nights and 3 days.

▼After arrival, please read carefully the house rules available in the accommodation.

▼No housekeeping service is provided during the stay. Cleaning is done after departure. For stays longer than a week, an intermediate cleaning will be done once, at a time convenient for travelers.

▼Please lock the house after you leave.

▼SOU is a Japanese house located in a peaceful residential area. We ask that you respect the people in the neighborhood. In particular, between 22:00 and 7:00, please avoid loud conversations and keep the volume of music and TV at a reasonable level.

▼If any of the following behaviors are observed, a special cleaning fee and/or damage-related fee of 50,000 yen (excluding tax) or more may be charged:

・Wearing shoes inside the house
・Smoking inside or on the property (including e-cigarettes)
・Noisy behavior causing nuisance to the neighborhood
・Illegal dumping of garbage or abandonment of items that cannot be placed in the garbage bags (including items brought in from outside)
・Accommodation of a number of people greater than the number stated in the reservation
・Damages, soiling or taking away equipment and objects (repair or replacement costs may be charged separately)
・Extremely messy condition of the accommodation at the time of departure
・Use of sexual services at home (a report to the authorities may be made depending on the circumstances)
・Any other behaviour that has a significant impact on the accommodation or the neighbourhood
