À propos de cette location de vacances
Stay in the atmospheric lower-ground floor of a historic building dating back to 1710, directly on the Amstel River and just 100 metres from Amsterdam’s iconic Skinny Bridge (Magere Brug). Both suites have their own private entrance, tucked away behind the olive tree.

This suite include a private bathroom, minibar, hairdryer, iron and travel adapters. Our team is available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay.
A special place with a long tradition of hospitality: guests have been staying here for three centuries.
The Space:
The guesthouse occupies the lower-ground floor of a historic building, situated slightly below street level. It has its own private entrance at street level, located behind the olive tree in the stone planter on the pavement.
A short flight of stairs leads down to the guest hallway. Amstel River is the first door on the left.
The suite is rented privately with its own private bathroom. Please note that the garden itself is not accessible to guests, but you can enjoy the view.
The owners live in the same building on the floors above the guesthouse.
Guest Access:
The guesthouse is located slightly below street level and can only be accessed via a short flight of stairs. There is no lift or step-free access.
Please also note that the ceilings are relatively low. For these reasons, the guesthouse may be less suitable for guests with limited mobility or taller guests.
The Neighborhood:
Amster SeventyOne is located directly on the Amstel River, along a peaceful bend in the water and just 100 metres from the Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge), one of Amsterdam’s most beautiful and iconic bridges.
It is a particularly charming part of the historic city centre, yet surprisingly peaceful compared with Amsterdam’s busier streets. The location makes an ideal base for exploring the Canal District and the city’s historic neighbourhoods.
Royal Theatre Carré is just around the corner, while the H’ART Museum, Hortus Botanicus, Utrechtsestraat, Rembrandtplein and Waterlooplein are all within walking distance. The neighbourhood also offers plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby.
Waterlooplein metro station and tram 14 provide convenient connections across the city, while Schiphol Airport can be reached by train and metro in approximately 30 minutes.
And in the morning, step outside onto the quay and you may see Amsterdam’s rowers gliding past on the Amstel.
Getting Around:
From Schiphol Airport: Take the train to Amsterdam Centraal (approximately 15–20 minutes). From there, take metro 51, 53 or 54 to Waterlooplein (2 stops), followed by a pleasant 5-minute walk along the Amstel River to the guesthouse.
A taxi from Schiphol takes approximately 30–45 minutes, depending on traffic. Uber and Bolt are also available in Amsterdam.
From Amsterdam Centraal: Take tram 14 to Waterlooplein, then walk approximately 5 minutes along the Amstel to the guesthouse.
Thanks to the central location, many of Amsterdam’s main sights, restaurants and neighbourhoods are also easily reached on foot or by public transport.
