We've stayed at the Alpine in several times over the last few years. It's not the newest building but the beds are newer and not worn out, the rooms are clean and bathrooms are usually updated.
Bonus points for the location right next to the Esso gas station that has amazing pizza! My kids now insist we have dinner there

Price was good, room was big.
There was a coffee maker with no coffee, filters or cups. There’s no heat in the bathroom, so you need to keep the door open so it warms up from heat from the main room
