Houston Motor Inn

Location was good for me as a half way point between Kitimat and Prince George. The motel looked a bit run down but I was pleasantly surprised that the room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable and everything worked perfectly including internet and cable tv. No noise issues. Air conditioning worked great. I felt like i was getting good value for the cost of the room. The staff were friendly and helpful, suggesting Pleasant Valley Restaurant for dinner, which was a 5 minute walk down the street and had excellent home cooked style food at a reasonable price.

The picture showed an on-site restaurant, which was not the case. However there was a good restaurant close by so this was not much of an issue for me.

Comfortable beds. Good size shower. The staff were excellent, very kind and helpful.

Clean rooms, friendly staff.

There aren’t many places to stay along the Cassiar and this was a good place to lay your head and it accepted dogs

It wasn’t the most up to date place but what do you expect out in the middle of the Cassiar highway
