It’s an older motel, but our room was very clean and cosy. The beds were comfortable. It was quiet at night and we got a deep restful sleep. The washroom had extra small towels for wiping shoes or other non-personal items, which was a nice and thoughtful touch. To my surprise, there was a Keurig coffee maker in the room. The coffee from the pods provided was much better than at other hotels with drip machines.
The owner, Howard, was a very friendly, helpful and funny chap.
There’s a local supermarket right next door. A bit farther on is a petrol station.
I’d definitely recommend staying here.
This might just be wishful thinking, but it would be nice if the price included a very simple breakfast set (for example, muffins and apples or bananas).

A nice place to stay when traveling if looking for a clean, comfortable room.
We were on motorcycles, so it was a bit of a walk to dining.

It was nice to have two queen size beds and a refrigerator and microwave. When we blew a fuse and the power went out suddenly because we used the microwave and TV and the coffeemaker all at the same time and (a typical problem), the manager came over and fixed it even though it was 10PM.
The beds were a little soft and you sank into the middle.
