Delta Hotels by Marriott™ Virginia Beach Waterfront Suites

It is in a quiet area away from the busy. The facility was clean and well kept. There is an onsite Starbucks and restaurant.

We were on the 3rd floor ocean view and the roof to the restaurant is right there as well. I didn’t care for having that in my view of the ocean. If I were to stay there again I’d ask to be higher up. Ocean front rooms cost more, it didn’t say ocean roof view in the description. Also was told the pool was heated year round. We had a cooler day and decided to get in the heated pool. It was not very warm, I’d say maybe 70 ish, was not able to stay in the pool.

The hotel is by right by the beach front. Access to the main highway and restaurants in the was very easy. Breakfast was during the weekend. Staff were very nice especially the front desk. There was an issue with my room but they changed the room quickly.

Breakfast on a Monday had very poor service. It took about an hour to get serviced. There were two servers only and guests were waiting in a long line. Not sure why the buffet option they serve during the weekend was removed.

The room had a great view of the ocean. The room was spacious and the bed room was huge.

The cleanliness was not up to par for the Hilton. Housekeeping showed up 2 out of 3 days. I had to go down stairs to request for extra towels. Upon arrive the parking lot did not have any parking spaces. I was told I would get help with this. I was provided a parking pass to park in the back of the hotel. Not once was I given told it would be a charge and I was not provided the option to accept or decline. I received my bill at checkout and went down stairs to discuss the matter. I was told that parking was part of the bill and I would have to pay. This was a scam and I will never stay at this hotel again.
