Hampton Inn & Suites Port Richey

very clean. staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.

our first night someone checked in to the room joined to ours around 12. the ended up having a guest over at 4am. who was so obnoxious he ended getting kicked out the next day in the afternoon after other people on our floor complained of the noise, the dog barking, and the constant opening and slamming of the door. need less to say the hotel did a great job at getting him removed but it took so long to do so that our group had zero sleep and I'm sure so did the customers who booked the room. he also yelled at the elderly guest in front of us because he complained. this review is not bashing the hotel or the length of time it took them to deal with the guest but to forwarn that's some rooms are joined by a connecting door n you can hear absolutely everything , so it may not suit light sleepers . 💕

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The whole facility was spotless. The breakfast for the 3 days we were there was delicious.

Wash rags were thin and small. There was no water pressure and oddly the parking lot was dark at night and the exterior signage was not lit so at times hard to find when arriving after dark. Tend to think it's not safe for a dark parking lot. I think the lights come on after 11pm.

As always, the Hampton Inn Breakfast was excellent. That is one of the main reasons I always try to stay at Hampton Inn when I travel. I enjoy the comfort of security as opposed to staying at a lower-class place where there are usually shady people allowed to be out and about on the property. The staff is always friendly. Rooms are always very clean.

The only thing on this last stay that I could have done without was the little yapping dog in the room next door, and it's owners that were sort of loud talkers. That is not really Hampton Inn's fault though. Maybe there could be a way to soundproof the adjoining doors a little better.

It was a Hampton Inn & Suites, familiarity....

First room offered wasn't clean and after a little negotiation we were offered a new room. Outside of the facility was tired and the pool area was really tired.
