Hotel was in a good downtown location with a public car park opposite. It had pleasant public spaces with an interesting happy hour with free craft beer. Room was small but comfortable. Staff were friendly.
Room cleaning, bathrobes & slippers had to be requested rather than automatic. Staff could be more proactive.

Customer support! My son-in-law forgot his insulin when we left for Seattle. We couldn’t return for it as we had already returned our hire car when he discovered his error. He phoned the hotel to ask if they could see if it was in the room fridge and courier it to us in Seattle. He was told that they would phone back. Still waiting for that phone call! Insulin is important to diabetics so even if they hadn’t found it a call to explain this would have been appreciated!

Service. There’s no housekeeping unless you’re staying there for at least 4 nights, so there was no emptying of the trash and recycling cans, no bed makeup, no fresh towels unless you ask for it, the coffee and creams were not refilled unless you requested them. In our case, the room felt old, the bathroom small, the nespresso machine was broken and no one came up to fix it even though I requested it. This hotel doesn’t deserve its 4 stars. Very disappointed!
