Exceptional hotel - the best we stayed in on our 2 week road trip to New England. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable and downstairs there were lovely rooms to sit in including a library and a log fire area. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone

Common areas were well designed and cater to many different social gathering needs: from cozy corners for quiet reading, to more intimate sitting for two, to larger casual gatherings of previously strangers. Bathrooms (showers) was clean and newly updated shower stalls and vanity.
Walls can be a tad thin -- we could hear conversations from next room, and presumably they ours. The complimentary continental breakfast seems a bit on the lighter side. More fruit/berry options and granola would be great. I was there at 8:30am and I did not find bread for toast; only bagels.

The outside hot tub was great!
The place smelled horrible, like a septic issue. The smell was throughout the entire facility. Also, although the outside hot tub was nice, they need to have a bench or something closer to put towels on. We had to lay our stuff on the snow and ice.
