Inn of the Hills Hotel and Conference Center

Everything in the room was clean and neat. Swimming pool was the best ever in a hotel

Nice and Quaint!

Walls were thin. Heard conversations outside and in other rooms

Although it's an older Inn, the grounds and room were clean and the area quiet at night. Near the river, sadly due to flood damage parks and pathways are off limits for safety/recovery. It is a good general location to visit family that are local. There are fast food places and restaurants nearby. There is a health food store across the street from the front of the Inn and Walmart nearby and going east on Junction hwy is a big HEB grocery store.

Breakfast on the premises but not included.

Nice older hotel. Pretty pool area. Cool vibe. Maintenance was helpful helping us move rooms when we found water standing in the tub in the room we were assigned.

I had to move rooms because water was standing in the bath tub in the first room we were assigned. Gross! The second room we were assigned, the AC was not working properly. Water was dripping down from a vent in the bathroom. Water all over the floor. Looked like mold in the AC vent. There were no towels in the new room we were assigned. When I asked the lady at the front desk if someone could bring us towels, I was told I would have to come get them ourselves. We were roomed at the back of the hotel and I had to walk all the to the front with my young children to fetch towels. We then went to the pool. There were no pool towels there. We went to the front desk TWICE asking for pool towels. The second time, I was told by the night desk clerk that "maintenance was busy and towels are not a priority." This may have been true, but that lady needs to work on her customer service skills. I happen to SEE the maintenance man on the property and asked HIM for pool towels. He brought them immediately. The hotel is obviously short staffed in the evenings.
