The Florence Guest House

Fabulous breakfast. good choice of cereals, fruit and an amazing cooked breakfast enough to last all day!

Couldn't be helped, but the top floor bedroom was up a lot of stairs. Good aerobic exercise though.

The hosts were very pleasant and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. From the time we arrived to the point of leaving our experience was positive. The parking in the sea is at a premium and the owner had secured local parking bays at a very generous daily rate. Our room was clean and spacious and one we would book again. The venue served an excellent breakfast with a great choice and the venue onto the local park from the dining area was exceptional. It was a very short walk to the harbour where there are many quaint shops, eating places and site seeing attractions. The venue is also close to a train station and bus station. Buses are frequent which aid a change of scenery one place being Robin Hood Bay.

On a personal note there was nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was beautiful. Freshly made and plentiful.

Can't think of anything.

On our arrival David & Gwen made us feel very welcome chatted with us for a while then David carried our bags to the room asked us if we was happy with it and was there anything we needed they could not do enough for us at breakfast the food was hot and the service was excellent .There was plenty of tea/coffee in the room I would recommend to my friends & family.
