This is the perfect place to escape the chaos of Bangkok. 3hour drive and you're completely away from civilization, but close enough to reengage if you'd like. Tons of places to hike, explore nature. The hotel staff are amazing, the beach is great, the food is great, the pool villa was perfect. We'll be back anytime we need a weekend away.
There was nothing wrong with the hotel. I think the ONLY constructive criticism I'd offer is the same for all beaches in Thailand. Pick up the trash. I understand it keeps coming with every wave, but there's enough staff to send someone out each morning and fill up a garbage bag, or ask the hotel guests to volunteer to do it...even better.

The villa was rustic and beautiful! Amazing sea view! Excellent food at the restaurant. The staff was fantastic and very helpful!

Breakfast very good and the bed was great
There was nothing to sit on comfortably in the room or outside the sunbeds were awful

the location is very peaceful
for elderly, there should be more safety at the shower room and plunge pool. The stair to the dinning area is very dangerous to walk at night. No lighting at all. The way to walk down to the beach is not suitable for elderly at all.
