Riverside Hotel Southbank

The location was really good close to everything we needed or wanted to go. The room was good comfy bed comfy pillows as my partner and I do have trouble sleeping with certain type pillows. the bathroom was ok little bit basic but was ok good shower.

There wasn't much that we didn't like to be honest. staff were friendly and helpful parking was good and secured. easy access to the hotel. definitely will come again if the opportunity arises. The shower is pretty basic but if its a quick stop over then its ideal but for holiday would be nice to have a nice bathroom.

Loved the location and ease of getting to mine and my daughter's favourite Southbank destinations and activities. Loved the bubbly and positive staff. This was our 4th or 5th stay at Riverside Hotel and we will definitely be returning again.

We had a couple of issues chasing top up toilet paper over our 7 night stay, even when requested to hotel domestic staff and had issues with staff taking towels to wash, but not replacing them. Had to chase up towels once and toilet paper twice on our 7 night stay - when all 3 events we're communicated and requested politely before we set out on our daily activities. I would also like to add, that for the 7 nights I stayed with my 13yr old daughter and 2yr old grandson, even though we had wifi in our room and a smart TV, I was unable to access any form of my own personal streaming services, not even YouTube - kept telling me the internet I had access to was "limited access". I even tried to Hotspot from my own data on my mobile phone and was still unsuccessful. This made it difficult to keep Mr 2 entertained in the small hotel room, whilst getting ready for the day each morning or settling down at night. I note here in a previous review that another hotel stayer was gifted breakfast for this inconvenience, unfortunately we were not, however a simple apology was offered.

Very close to the city . Clean and tidy

Location was great

Uncomfortable beds and not very attentive staff
