mySTAYINN Kinloch Lodge

The absolute best thing about our accommodation was the location. Kinloch lodge is in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the downtown area and the River Ness. No breakfast was available, but we did enjoy the in-room hot water heater, instant coffee, tea, and cookies. Our room (7) was clean and had a sliding glass door onto a private courtyard. Although it was a bit too chilly to spend our mornings outside, the wall of glass made the room feel much more spacious. Closet and shelving space more than met our needs. The bathroom was generously sized with a nice shower, and a common area and kitchen (used for one dinner) was just outside our door. The inn was full, but we never heard other guests from within our room. The parking lot across the street was great for overnight parking (free from 6pm to 8 am, or pay £3 between 4-6 pm and get the balance of 3 hours after 8 am.

The double bed was a bit tight for two slim but tall people. Hitting the hanging light by the front door was unavoidable when opening the door. Extra floor space in the room was minimal. Hand soap fixture by sink was not attached to a wall. None of these were hugely inconvenient. However, the parking situation is tricky, because you can’t spend more than 3 continuous hours in the nearby lot from 8 am to 6 pm in the daytime, which means you have to spend time finding other parking during the day. We went on day trips out of the city on both full days of our trip so it wasn’t too bad.

Great location Very close to town center. Comfortable bed and toilet was heated.loved the skylights. Public car park nearby as well.

Excellent place to stay in Inverness : bedroom confortable , big shared kitchen and living room. Bonus : You can wash and dry your clothes

one of the worst mattresses i have ever experienced, old and very used furniture, rusty / unsafely rusty furniture in bathroom, moldy shower (black mould), not a good feeling about the cleaning standard, overall.
