Hotel Rey Alfonso X

Lovely hotel, very comfortable, great staff and superb breakfast

We loved the location as you can see everything that old town has to offer and there are a lot of nice restaurants close by. We explored everything on foot. Everyone was also very nice and welcoming, and we really felt cared for. We even got complimentary prosecco delivered to our room which was a nice touch.

The noise kept us awake — there seems to be no soundproofing between the rooms and to the hallways. You can hear when someone flushes the toilet, takes a shower or just talks in the room next door. This was really annoying and we could not sleep. For this reason we would not choose this hotel again.

Great location, very nice breakfast.

Pool area is small, couldn't get near to it. The few extra sunbeds were in odd shady locations.

The hotel was really lovely. It was in a perfect location, close to all main sites and so easy to walk everywhere. Local restaurants were all excellent and very good value for money. We had a very large suite room which was excellent and it had a coffee machine as well as tea making facilities. Also had a bag full of essentials in the bathroom which was a lovely touch, water bottles each day too. Pool area is small but very nice and clean. The roof top bar area is perfect and a great way to spend a couple of hours of an evening. Daniel behind the bar was fantastic, always cheerful. Happy to make you what ever cocktail you may like even if its not on the menu. Bar prices very reasonable for a hotel.

Did not have breakfast in the hotel as felt it was a little expensive considering the restaurants just outside.
