The host is a incredible nice person with an amazing sales manager (gao). Location is absolutely perfect, you can not ask for more in one of the most authentic tea districts there is, easy walk to the garden.
It’s a true authentic experience.

Everything was great. We were very nicely welcomed by the owner of the hotel. Very well located. You feel as if you were in a private Japanese home.

Visiting Kanazawa and staying at House Gao was the highlight of my trip. The owner, Yoneda, is a nice and welcoming person and Gao is a very friendly dog that enjoys eating vegetables :) The room was very big, and close to the entry, bathroom and toilet, so it was perfect for me. I also paid the breakfast which was good and enough for the price. The location is perfect if you want to explore Kanazawa by foot. The train station is a 25 min walk or a 15 min bus ride, so it is perfect.
