The property was excellent value for money, the proximity to Carousel shopping centre was a great bonus. It met my expectations for the price point I was searching in, I think it is important to keep low cost accommodation options available. With that in mind I won't be commenting on furnishings, decor or room sizes because if I wanted ultra modern incredibly spacious rooms I wouldn't be looking in this price bracket. The beds were very comfortable and everything was perfectly clean when we arrived. All the necessities for a comfortable stay were provided by the host (except tongs), everything was in good clean condition. I did need to contact the owner for something and they were really professional and a great host. I would definitely book again and recommend to anyone looking for a cheap, clean and tidy, no fuss, no frills place to stay.

The only down side I could pick on was that the fridge wasn't switched on when we arrived, we had travelled quite some way and we're eager to get perishables and medications straight into a fridge which we still obviously did but it took a while to get cold. Also there were no tongs for cooking, really trivial stuff in the grand scheme of things. Up to the owners if that's something they'd like to change but it didn't impact our stay in a negative way, it just would have been nice.

Hosts were easy to communicate with us. Was clean and had everything you'd need at a home away from home. Great location, short drive to shops and minimal road traffic noise, quiet area.

The only suggestion would be darker curtains in the second bedroom as it was super bright as soon as the sun came up. No other complaints.

Kitchen was missing a few basic utensils which the host quickly rectified. The shower head kept falling down which was annoying.

I liked the location, it was an 18 minute walk to the local mall where you can buy almost all you need ,the apartment was really comfortable and I would gladly recommend it for a family of 4

Breakfast not provided. Location was close to train station and supermarkets. The washing machine/dryer was very handy and worked well.

The lighting was very poor, LED globes may improve the dimness. The space around master bed was narrow, we had to walk sideways to get around the bed. The curtains in bedrooms would have been better if they had been block out ones, the daylight woke us up at 5.30am everyday.

It was cute! There's a little courtyard for me to smoke in and everything was neat and tidy. It was very close to where we needed, there was a washer and dryer available and they had everything supplied for it, including a basket! It smelled nice when we walked in and I found everything easy to navigate.

Locking the door the first time was a little annoying because I needed to lock it with the switch and then pull it shut. There was also a little black mould in the bathroom but I didn't notice it until I washed my hair and looked up, it's only minor and will easily disappear with a small wipe of bleach. I found my mattress a little firm for my liking but I'm a bit of a princess and prefer a pillow top, my son however loved how firm they were, so it's really just personal preference.

Well located to local function centre. staff very communicative and even organised early check in for us which was greatly appreciated after an early morning flight.

The hosts are pleasant and friendly people, they were very responsive to any requests during our stay. Overall the place works and functions well and is reasonably comfortable. We stayed for 6 weeks so became quite familiar with this accommodation. There was an issue with cleanliness that I will detail in what I didn't like. I hope they take on board that sometimes, stuff just needs updating, doesn't have to be new, just newer.

Normally, from what I understand, this place is clean, and I have no reason to doubt this. However for our stay someone dropped the ball. We informed the host that the place was not cleaned to the standard that they promote, they did say that their new cleaner had let them down and they would discuss this with them. Really? the cleaner, not the owner? It is the owner/hosts responsibility to check their work before guests arrive. Take responsibility, you are the owner/manger, it falls to you to make it better/right We decided, because of Covid and the greater inconvenience of leaving the accommodation temporarily, that we would clean it ourselves. This place had only been superficially cleaned for some time, plates and glasses were stuck in position in the cupboard by what we suspect was cooking grease/oil deposits. The unit that holds the sink just permeated cooking smells, such that the clean tea towels provided and placed in the draws of the unit smelt of cooking. The white overhead fan in the kitchen was the brown of a kitchen fan that had not been cleaned in some time (the cleaner let you down?) Similarly the bathroom/laundry needed going over as did the lounge and bedrooms. Dirt/grime builds up in corners over time, not because your cleaner missed it once. Staying for a longer period of time made us aware that the lounge/s are tired and need to be updated, the double bed squeaks like mad, this was not very conducive to a night of passion. We could feel the springs in the mattress, this may be just us, so we elected to provide our own mattress topper. The curtains are thinner than a politicians promise and hold out little or no light, you get the morning sun in the main bedroom at 5am, so we had to put up foil to stop the light and the heat during mid summer. I do hope this was a singularity, a bump in the road of a place normally rated to a higher standard.

Well looked after, quiet area close to major shopping mall and easy to get to other places in Perth. Self contained with good heating when it was cold and comfortable sleeping and lounge.

Light in kitchen a bit dark, walls were thin but luckily all guests in the next unit were respectful of each other.

The wifi was very smooth and the house overall was very clean. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. The facilities there were very complete.

We felt comfortable, price was ok.

Nice and clean, nearly everything you would need is available. Owner was extremely helpful when a plumbing issue arose during our stay and fixed the issue immediately, also offered us an alternative to ensure our trip went as planned in case it couldn’t be fixed. It was a good, comfortable stay.

The main bedroom might need some thicker curtains, as the streetlight goes directly in the room and is quite bright. Also maybe a gate between the units for the back verandah as the people staying in the neighbouring unit would walk through the back when we were seated out there, not much privacy in that sense. Other than that everything was great.
