This was our second stay in this FABULOUS rental. The house is amazing! Perfect for 2 couples. The location is ideal. It is just a 10 minute walk to the PATH and then a 15 minute ride straight to the World Trade Center and the subway system. The house is across the street from a darling park and a 10 minute walk to a delightful area in Jersey City with anything you need. The beds are both super comfy and the 2 bathrooms great! The host is fantastic. We plan to stay here every trip to NYC if we can!

It was great place to rest after our long days in NYC. Much more space than we expected from the photos, our teenagers appreciated the room to chill. Nice job on the remodeling, modern amenities in a traditional brownstone.

We stayed for a week in this beautiful apartment, it has everything! The beds are really comfortable, the kitchen has many new tools. All the rooms are very clean. Everything is working well. The instructions are very clear. And if you want to go to New York, the Path goes all day and it is a six minutes of walk and 10 minutes to World Trade Center. The area is safe, we came back at 10p with no problems. We stayed very well in this house, hope returning soon! Thank to the owners.

This place was immaculate and had everything we needed. It was a quick and safe 10 minute walk to the PATH station which brought us to Manhattan in 15 minutes. The beds were comfortable and the check in was easy. Thank you for keeping this place up for visitors so nicely.

Nice unit, great location. Walk to Path station and many restaurants. Communication with the owner was very good. We went to New York City everyday with no issues. Walking around the area was pleasant with lots of other walkers. Plenty of good restaurants walking distance. We enjoyed every place we ate except Luna. The unit was very clean and comfortable.

Loved how clean and well-furnished this rental was. The master king bed was very comfortable. We also liked how close the location is to the Grove Street PATH station. The host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would stay here again!

The best VRBO we've ever stayed in. Its location was perfect for everything we planned on doing for our ten day stay there. It is directly across from the Van Vorst Park where the Saturday market provides for delicious fruits, vegetables, and baked goods. A five minutes walk to the Path Grove Station where you can catch the train to Manhattan. From the Path Station, about 10 minutes to the WTC stop, 15 minutes to 9th Street in Greenwich Village. About 30 minutes from the Grove station to 33rd Street and then an easy connection to 42nd Street, Broadway. A must is the Pedestrian Zone, five minutes walk from the VRBO--excellent restaurants, pubs, as well as Walgreens. Post Office, a 15 minutes walk at 69 Montgomery Street. An excellent vegetarian restaurant is less than 5 minutes away from the VRBO--Uncle Momo's at 289 Grove Street. The VRBO is palatial in its beauty and size. Our host, Kristina, is a phone call away. When we visit NYC again, we will definitely stay in this Jersey City apartment again. Thank you, Kristina, for your awesome service and beautiful VRBO.

This property met and exceeded our expectations. It was very clean with plenty of space for our family of 6. With easy access to the Path, it made our journey to Manhattan very convenient. We felt safe at all times as the location was great and family friendly. We would highly recommend!

I would give 10 stars if I could! The apartment was beautiful and the attention to detail was apparent in every room! Extremely comfortable beds/linens and beautiful marble bathrooms. Very easy/quick/safe walk to the PATH station to head into WTC or Midtown, but Uber/Lyft into Manhattan/Brooklyn was very reasonable as well. Truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay here and we will definitely be back!!

The owners have done an amazing job of updating this brownstone, while maintaining the charm of the original architecture. It is the cleanest short term rental we have ever stayed in! Communication and everything was smooth and top notch. We also enjoyed the location, close to the PATH train, shopping and dining. Always felt safe walking around, even at night. The waterfront was an easy maybe 15 minute walk and a gorgeous place to take in the view of Manhattan. We needed 4 beds to accommodate our family. Sofa sleeper was not so great for an adult 20 something man, but would probably be fine for kids. Master bedroom was extremely comfortable, but you do hear the dog park across the street as well as sirens at various hours. We only noticed this in the front bedroom, not the rest of the house, and were sensitive to it because we live on a quiet 5 acre property in the country. The murphy bed was very comfortable for an adult, but you should know that if the murphy bed is in use, you have no TV in the main living space. This would probably be fine for most, but we had an adult twenty something son sleeping in this bed that wanted to lounge in it whenever we were there, which nixed my plans of the entire family watching Christmas movies whenever we were in, as he didn't want to give up his comfy space. Owner was kind enough to provide a twin air mattress which was also very comfortable. It was extremely cold outside when we were there, but I very much enjoyed a morning cup of coffee on the balcony and a glass of wine there on the evening of our arrival. Bonus is that you have a slight view of Manhattan from the balcony through the trees, which was a fun surprise! Pride of ownership shows and we enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at this home. The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful it is. Definitely would recommend. It was so nice to be away from the craziness of NYC downtown. Each bed was comfortable. Host was amazing. Loved our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The pictures actually do not do it justice. The apartment is more spacious than depicted and has been updated beautifully. Perfect for 2 Moms and 2 teenaged daughters. We never felt uncomfortable walking in the neighborhood and we were coming home from shows late at night. We did use the PATH which was extremely convenient. The owners have a great binder with helpful info about the apt, the area, etc. I have stayed in multiple VRBO places through the years and this one was by far the cleanest and though we didn’t cook appeared to be well equipped for it. The owners have thoughtfully placed a small table by the apt door so you can set items down while entering the code and there is a rack with umbrellas for your use as well. I would highly recommend this place!

My family and I have always stayed in Manhattan when visiting New York. Was looking for a little more room than a tiny hotel room. So glad we found this VRBO. The apartment is in such a cute neighborhood of Jersey. It is an easy walking distance to the subway. There were plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was so clean. I had one question during my stay and the owner immediately responded and were very nice and helpful. I would certainly stay here again.

4 of us stayed in the brownstone and had a great time. The house is upscale, close to transportation and food, and overall perfect. Thanks for having us!

The Brownstone was even more lovely in person, than it appeared on the site. In a great neighborhood, immediately across the street from Van Vorst Park. Very easy commute into NYC, either by the PATH train or water ferry. We experienced both, but for ease of use preferred the train. Accommodations were perfect for my friend and I, as both the primary bedroom and the secondary, (Murphy-bed), bedroom had their own bathrooms. With the kitchen/dining room between the two, it offered just the right amount of separation and communal space. The queen-size Murphy-bed was very comfortable. The pedestrian mall is less than a 10-minute walk and features tons of restaurants, bars and grocery/wine stores. The Saturday Farmer's Market, (directly across the street in the park), is a must! Highly recommend the Brownstone. After a busy day in the City, it's a respite to come home to.

This place was perfect! The neighborhood is fantastic and there's a wonderful park just across the street. It was beautiful, very clean and comfortable and exactly as pictured and described. Beds and furniture were very comfortable, as was outdoor furniture on back deck. It was a little difficult for me at 5'2" to reach the upper shelves of the cabinets and refrigerator, which is raised, but others in my group were tall and had no problem. They have a very nice stepladder to assist the height challenged. We really enjoyed this our stay here and highly recommend it.

This was our first trip to NYC and we used this lovely apartment as a home base for touring the city. There were 4 adults and 1 teenager in our group. Space-wise it was a bit tight but we made it work. The kitchen worked well to prepare meals. The Grove Street PATH station was very convenient to get into the city. Seems like it (PATH) was less crowded to use during the week than the weekend. The area around the apartment is worth exploring. The dog park across the street didn’t bother us and we would be sensitive to it if it was a nuisance. However, wear earplugs at night if you are a lighter sleeper because there is city noise and some noise from the neighbors in the surrounding apartments. Nothing extreme, just normal. We live in a very quiet suburban area surrounded by 7 acres of woods and with earplugs, we were fine. Highly recommend this rental.

We were two friends on a week long NYC vacation tour. This is one of my all time favorite VRBO properties. An updated, but historic Brownstone across from a beautiful park. Walking distance to the PATH system to get quickly and easily into NYC. Close to Liberty State Park (you can walk). The apt. was perfect for two of us, as we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The second bedroom is a Murphy bed in a living room, so its easy to put away for tv watching and hanging out. The back deck is perfect for morning coffee. The apartment is beautifully appointed with nothing overlooked. Clean and spotless. Comfy beds, good linens. I can’t say enough nice things about how much we loved staying here. There are only two things to be aware of: the front steps up to the apartment are steep. They were not a problem for us, but other renters might want to be aware of it. Also, Van Vorst park across the street has a very active dog park, and you will hear dogs barking off and on all day in the front bedroom. Night time in this neighborhood is quiet (and I’ll still take barking dogs in JC over NYC sirens, cars honking and yelling on the street!) Just something to be aware of. Overall, we were so pleased with these accommodations for our stay. The owners should be commended for what fantastic hosts they are. I would absolutely rent it again over any other place I’ve stayed in Jersey City, or in New York City. Fantastic place!

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay here! It’s so beautifully renovated, it’s like walking into a palace! It’s a great place to stay while visiting New York City with the public transportation so close. Our children loved playing at the park right across the street. Everything in the house was well indicated and well furnished, we weren’t in need of anything. Very professional hosts 👌
