I booked Tongo Hills for the 1st week of our honeymoon in The Philippines. The staff member got in touch via the messaging service on booking.com and introduced themselves, explained the facilities and services they offer such as airport transfers and we had a really lovely honeymoon package too- included drinks and massage. Upon arrival we were welcomed with friendly smiles, our room was beautifully decorated for our Honeymoon. It was evident that a lot of thought and care went into this. The hospitality we received during our stay at Tongo was exceptional! Staff were so friendly, always bright smiles on their face; they were all a pleasure to be around. Nothing was too much, especially when it came to guiding us through booking reputable excursions. We had THE BEST TIME!! We were only bed & breakfast here, the food was lovely and I also developed an obsession for mango shakes thanks to Tongo Hills! They do the best mango shake in the whole of Philippines! I’m telling you! Haha! The whole property was very unique, serene and beautifully kept. We loved the simplicity of the property, truly relaxing experience. We didn’t have any issues with bugs/mosquitoes, yes it was hot but the fan did the trick. Favourite part of the room was the shower! I love the concept of incorporating nature in the shower area. The property had the sweetest little furr babies! The dogs and cats are so CUTE & Friendly. Tongo Hills was our favourite stay in the Philippines 💖 I would definitely recommend them if you’re in Cebu/Moalboal area. All the staff members are little gems 💎 especially Zenia and Lovely 🥰

The vibe ( close to nature, tranquill,service (breakfast on the terrace,movie night with popcorn on big screen, water dispencer). 🙂

Everything was fine.

Very clean property and the accommodation was so comfortable. Beautiful surroundings and communal area. Delicious breakfast and staff were great.

30 minute walk from the centre of Moalboal but would be much faster with a bike. As we are out in nature there are lots of animal noises such as stray dogs barking through the night.

Een fijne plek net buiten het centrum. Het ligt op een heuvel en is heel mooi en sfeervol aangelegd. De huisjes en buitenbadkamer zijn fijn en het ontbijt is heerlijk. Er zijn maar een paar huisjes dus er heerst een relaxte sfeer.

Veel geluidsoverlast van muziek uit de omgeving (en de hanen). Ook was de douche afwisselend warm en koud en niet zo’n sterke straal. Dat was alles.

Es war unglaublich. Wir lieben es in mitten der Natur zu schlafen. Eine Dusche unter freiem Himmel, Naturgeräusche zum Einschlafen, was will man mehr. Es gibt in Mitten der Anlage ein Häuschen mit Hängematten und Liegen, wo man die traumhafte Aussicht bei einer Tasse Tee/ Kaffee genießen kann. Das Frühstück war wirklich hervorragend und wird einem vor seinem eigenen Häuschen auf der Terrasse serviert ( traumhaft). Auch für Mittag bzw. Abendessen wird die Möglichkeit angeboten, dass sie für dich in einem naheliegenden Restaurant bestellen und es zur Unterkunft geliefert wird. Das Essen war sehr lecker und preiswert. Zudem kann man sich sogar Roller direkt von der Unterkunft mieten und Schnorchelausrüstung ausleihen. Zudem werden viele Aktivitäten angeboten. Wir hatten leider nur eine Nacht hier, aber wir werden definitiv nochmal kommen. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

We had such a nice stay here! We went for a relaxing time at the beach after exams and this place was so lovely and out of the way, while having everything we needed! From the day we arrived the staff was welcoming and went out of their way to help us, from ordering us dinner after we got there late on the first night (thank you Rosalie!) to giving us free popcorn when we requested to do the movie night they offer, to organising transport whenever we needed it. The cottages themselves aren't really within walking distance of anything but the fact that we could go anywhere by tricycle for around 200 pesos stopped that being a problem. We felt a little bad as we often ended up requesting transport at the last minute after deciding to go places, but the staff were so lovely about it. Our shower wasn't working at one point in the stay but they had a plumber in who fixed it within two hours. We also love animals so we had a great time with the gorgeous and friendly dogs and cat who live on the property. Everything seems meticulously thought out and is both beautiful to look at and relaxing, and we felt safe and well-cared for as two female students travelling alone.

We didn't mind it at all but people who don't like noise at night might want to be aware that there are dogs who sometimes bark throughout the night, and roosters who crow in the early hours. And again we didn't mind at all, but if you don't like frogs they tend to camp out in the shower! For us everything was great :)
