The house was awesome. Just the right amount of privacy but proximity to what we wanted to do. Mad River, Stowe, Burlington, etc. all within easy reach. Our two boys loved VT as much as we did. Had a quick question for Bryan and he responded in minutes. Can’t wait to come back soon. Thanks!

We stayed here over a rainy 4th or July weekend and even though we were stuck inside, the house was great and our stay was perfect. The kitchen is perfect for people who enjoy cooking, the property is secluded so our dogs could run around safely, and when we did venture out of the house the people in town were super friendly. We definitely want to return again!

We had a delightfully peaceful stay in this cozy hillside house. Easy access to ski Mountains and town. Plenty of outside space to relax on deck and watch dog wonder up the hillside and down to river. Thank you for this COVID safe getaway to ski with family.

The house was everything we hoped for. Great location, well stocked and as described in the pictures and reviews. Having our own trail to the Mad River was perfect. We spent hours at the swimming hole with the kids and dog. Would highly recommend to others.

We had the pleasure of staying in this cottage at the height of fall colors. Despite being prime tourism time, businesses in the area were easy to visit, the roads clear and were we were impressed by the friendly community atmosphere. Great farmers market and food and wine supplies in Waitsfield; the Warren General Store is charming. Plenty of hiking along the river & in the mountains suitable for all levels of experience.This cosy house met our needs for a central location and enough room for three adult friends to talk, cook, play card games and read. Bryan's sound system provided excellent background music. Great views are to be had in the main living space and master bedroom - both are perfect for slowing down to watch the leaves fall. The two other bedrooms (and the cubby hole) have lesser (or no) views to speak of, which was disappointing at such a beautiful time of year. In the end, it depends on what you want from your sleeping arrangements....for us, there was no equal choice between the rooms (something we need to pay more attention to for future rentals). There was plenty of hot water and the bath was fine for us; the heat came on readily when the weather turned colder. Bryan was readily reachable for any questions - thank you!Was glad to have directions on best way to navigate the driveway - worked like a charm. We were really pleased with our visit to the Mad River area.

The house was unbelievably stocked with everything you could need to have a great weekend. Board games, dishes pots and pans. The property is as Vermont as it gets. Looking forward to coming back when it’s a bit warmer to enjoy the swimming hole. Thanks for renting out such a cool place

House is very clean, very comfortable and fully stocked with anything you may need. It is centrally located for great mountain biking. The best part is that there's a fantastic swimming hole with a rope swing four minutes behind the house. Local beef and cheeses for sale right down the road. I would highly recommend this spot and will definitely stay again.

Superb location to Warren and Waitsfield activities can not be beat. Access to your own Mad River swim hole, hot tub, fire pit, grill and overall privacy made this a special rental.

Lovely house in a very private setting. Everything that was listed but even better. Super clean. As noted, the driveway is very steep but our AWD wagon managed fine. Quick drive into Waitsfield for coffee at Sweet Spot and great dinners at American Flatbread and Mad Tacos.

It was nice...wish it had a second bathroom.

We had an amazing experience living at this place It's secluded with an amazing view of fall colors, a stream nearby We were a group of six had ano relaxing weekend during fall season here Owner is very quick to respond Would definitely love to visit the place again

This house was everything we were looking for.. very nice and secluded location, kids loved the nook to sleep in. House very clean and comfortable. On top of everything we were able to take our dog. Overall just a great experience!

Everything about our trip was perfect- The cabin, the peace & quiet, walking down the path for a swim in the river, hiking the nearby trails. There's not a single thing to complain about. Can't wait to go back.

Bryan's house was just right for our (2 adults but certainly could have accommodated another couple w/kids) 5 day trip to Mad River Valley. The property is beautiful, and also super convenient to Rt 100 and all that Mad River has to offer. The house is lovely, cosy and well stocked with the essentials. It was chilly weather during our stay, and the gas fireplace warmed the whole house right up when we got home in the evening. Bryan was a really wonderful, accommodating host. We will be back for sure!

We rented the house for several weekends this winter with our two children and loved the house and property. Much better than the sterile condos and hotels on the mountain and only very short ride up the access road. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Great spot and house. Very clean with plenty of supplies in kitchen. Driveway is steep. Would of loved to be able to use the hot tub.

Our family of 6 adults stayed here from 03/04 -03/06/16. It was the perfect spot for our ski week-end; although, due to snow conditions, we only skied on Saturday. The colored lights around the front door welcomed us as soon as we drove up! The house was very well-equipped - there was nothing we needed that wasn't there! We loved the many windows all around and the views from all of them. The weather was warm enough that we went for a walk on Sunday and then enjoyed sitting out on the back deck for awhile. The only negative was that the hot-tub was not working - despite being in all the photos and having written instructions left for its' use. We had really looked forward to being able to use it after our day of skiing. I did get in touch with Bryan about it, who was very apologetic; but we were still disappointed (it had made the property more appealing to us, when we booked it). If/when in the area again, we would certainly consider a repeat stay!

There are not many summer reviews for this home so I wanted to add one. First, about the house - it is exactly as the photos show. We arrived to a very clean home and fresh flowers on the table. If you are worried about not having AC you need not be. There were a few days that reached 80 while we were there and the house never felt hot. And the temperature drops so much at night that it felt cool in the evenings. The 3rd bedroom is in the basement with no window but it is private. The house is small but the use of space is excellent so we never felt crowded. FYI - there are no railings on the stairs which could be a problem if you have a young child. It was not issue for us. Second, the property is fabulous. The house is tucked into the woods and is very private. Bryan left everything we needed for bonfires. But the best part of the property is the swimming hole down the path. It was fantastic. Our kids (ages 7 and 8) spent hours and hours in it. We found this house to be extremely well located being that it is right off of 100 (but you would never know it when at the house) - during our stay we went to Warren Falls, Bristol Falls, Ben & Jerry's, Stowe, Sugarbush (took the lift then hiked to the top of Lincoln Peak), Waitsfield and so much more. Don't miss the Waitsfield Farmers Market. Cannot think of a single negative about the house. And we really enjoyed the Mad River Valley in the summer. It was hard to leave and we hope we will have a chance to go back!

We had a group of 6 people stay at Bryan's home and it was a wonderful experience. There was plenty of space and the bedrooms were comfortable. We enjoyed the privacy and land space for the dogs to run around. The hot tub was great and comfortable fit 6 adults and stayed warm. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and there was plenty of bedding. We enjoyed an afternoon campfire after skiing which was another great amenity! We were even able to see Sugarbush out of the master bedroom. We will be back :-)

The property was perfect for our group! Very close to Sugarbush and MRG. The hot tub was a feature and there was ample space for cooking our own dinners!
